Regional Readers’ Cup Competition 

Our team of Year 6 students, Charlotte Franklin, Lily Kucuku, Emily Ray and Willa Schuh took part in this event on Tuesday afternoon 13th June. The team had prepared during Term 2 by reading 5 set novels and they had to answer 10 questions from each book. Thanks for your participation girls, it was a great experience for you all! 

Borrowing/Reading for the Holidays 

Students were encouraged to borrow extra library items for holiday reading. Please make time over the break for family reading time!

Library Lessons in Prep and Year 1 

We have been learning to ask questions and locate facts in Non-Fiction texts and the students have enjoyed exploring our fabulous collection of Junior Non-Fiction titles about living things. Please encourage your students to be curious and ask questions about the world and support them to find some facts that answer their questions.

We will be celebrating great Australian books all term with the 2023 Book Week theme "Read Grow Inspire". Our Book Week parade is set for Tuesday 29thAugust and the Book Week performance from e-perform will take place on Wednesday 30th August (Week 8).
