School Travel Rebates Semester Two:
Reminders
Parking
With the building works happening we are reminding parents of the parking situation around the school. Car parking spaces may be limited, so please take the time to find a park safely. Please do not park on the footpaths of residents in Perth Street or on the nature strip outside the Bingo Hall. Toowoomba Regional Council parking inspectors have already booked parents who park in these areas and will continue to monitior our school closely over the upcoming weeks.

Sick Bay
Just a reminder to parents about children who present to sick bay if they are feeling unwell. We would like to remind parents about the process we take here at St Saviour's Primary when a child presents to Sick Bay.
If your child is unwell at school and is sent to the office to Sick Bay, either via the classroom teacher or throughout the morning tea or lunch breaks, an assesment is undertaken to determine what is wrong and why the child is feeling sick.
The child is given time to rest and after a period of time resting, an evaluation is then made to determine if he/she has improved or worsened. If we feel that your child is well enough to return to class, we will send them back and reassure them. However, if they are still showing signs of sickness or feeling unwell a parent/guardian will be rung to come and collect. Please note also, that any child who presents with headlice must be collected from school and treated at home immediately.
Thank you for your support of our processes and procedures here at school.
