Our students are enjoying the new library!

Darling Downs Readers' Cup 

We wish Maya, Gorgi, Estelle and Georgina all the very best for the Readers' Cup competition next Tuesday. Thank you for your term long effort to read the 5 set novels girls!

Family Book Club

We will meet to talk about our Term 2 book "The Magic Hour" next Monday in the library at 3.15pm. Please consider joining us to help decide the Term 3 title and for some great book chat.

Books for Home

I have withdrawn a significant number of titles from the student collection, mainly Non-Fiction, as we moved books onto our new shelves. Students and parents are invited to browse these books before school next Tuesday and Wednesday and take and keep them at home for their own reading enjoyment. The books will be set out in the demountable.

Learning in the Library

Year 6 are learning how Artificial Intelligence is trained and considering the pitfalls of AI

Year 5 are learning to make connections between the physical features of animals and their habitats

Year 4 are creating books trailers for Nat Amoore's story, "The Power of Positive Pranking"

Year 3 are learning to ask questions and gather information from videos

Ordered copies of these author's books have arrived and will be handed to students before the end of the week.
