BOOK FAIR SUCCESS!
With a sales figure close to $5,000.00, we are celebrating the fact that we have earned approx. $1500 in commission to spend on new books for the student collection!
Thank you to all the families and staff members who contributed to the success of this Fair by purchasing books and stationery and helping with supervision across the 4 days.
Special shout out to; Hazel Soriano, Donna Enders, Melinda Harkins, Narelle Jackson, Sara McHugh, Natalie O’Brien and Mary Milton for giving your time and expertise. I am grateful to the Year 6 volunteers who came to our aid during the busy times. Special mention to Gorgi Saad, Sophie Enders and Alexis Allen for writing names on the raffle tickets and to Liam Enders for his mental calculations at the sales table.
NEW HOME READERS FOR COVERING
We are currently adding 900 new home readers to our library database for use in Prep, Year 1 and 2 in 2025. These readers need to be covered using our high-grade library contact and we are asking for volunteers to take a bundle of 20 readers home to cover. A template of contact and a sample covered book will be provided. Please call in or speak to any staff member to register your interest in accomplishing this big task for the start of the new school year.
