….experiencing FAITH in the Mercy Tradition
Dear families
As we come to the close of another busy term and a productive and fulfilling year, it’s an appropriate time to stop and reflect on the growth and achievements of our students and ourselves. Advent, a time to prepare for the birth of Jesus, allows us to do that. As Fr Michael suggests, it’s a time to “declutter our minds and reflect on the innocence of our life with God – in its simplicity, joy and quietness; the experiences we have had of God’s close presence through others, and through the events of life.” I hope you get to take time over the coming weeks to remember what brings you joy and see the Holy Spirit working in, through and around us. Remember the real reason for the season.
St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal – Thank you for your generous support! Over $500 in cash and vouchers! A wonderful community effort!
Enrolments are now open for students from Years 4 and older (in 2025) in the St Patrick’s Cathedral 2025 Sacramental Program. Children who have already been Baptised complete their initiation into the Church through the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Communion. This is a partnership in which families and the Parish community work together as your child is nurtured in the practice and love of the Catholic faith. An information session will be held early next year, where you’ll be given a preparation workbook which is to be completed at home. If you’ve any questions or queries, please contact the Parish office on 46 371 500
Have a safe and blessed Christmas and a prosperous and happy new year! We look forward to seeing you all in 2025!
