Dear Parents,

What a fantastic Semester 1 it has been at St Saviour's Primary School.  

I am very thankful that I have the privilege of leading such a great school community and in particular, the amazing students and staff that I am able to interact with on a daily basis. 

We are well on our way to achieving our goals in our annual Action Plan that includes providing a multi-tiered system of support that identifies clear expectations for all students who attend SSPS, the creation of a new Master Plan, bringing to life our school Mercy Values and implementing rigorous assessment tasks in Religious Education.  All of these priorities will continue into Semester 2. 

In Week 2 next term, all parents will have the opportunity to complete the Shaping our Future Survey.  Every two years, families from all Toowoomba Catholic Schools share their views through this Perception Survey. It’s a valuable way for us to reflect on how each of our schools are living out Toowoomba Catholic Schools shared purpose: enabling full and flourishing lives.

This year’s survey will be sent via Sentral on Monday, 21 July.
Please keep an eye out for it – your feedback helps shape the future of all 32 Toowoomba Catholic schools.

We will also be asking Years 5 and 6 students from SSPS to complete a student version of the survey during Catholic Education Week at school.

STAFFING NEWS: Mrs Kat Bird's last day working in prep at SSPS is today.  We wish Kat and her family all the best as they move to Kingaroy for the beginning of Term 3.  Taking Kat's place in Prep H will be Mrs Sonny Hillman.  Sonny comes to St Saviour's Primary after a long career working with children and also teaching them how to swim.  Sonny is very keen to learn and has already spent a morning in Prep H.  Welcome Sonny!
