LIBRARY NEWS
Week 5 is drawing to a close so only one full week left to complete those Bingo sheets for the chance to be in the prize draw. The top prize is a $15.00 voucher from The Book Tree and there are 10 consolation prizes all to be drawn on Assembly in Week 7 so encourage your students to complete their entries. Week 6 is the last week for normal class borrowing. All student loans are due back in Week 7 and borrowing for the Summer Reading Program, for students with all current loans returned, will take place in Week 8.

Recent lunch-time activities included folding origami pumpkins and black cats for Halloween (thanks Mrs Powers). We have focused on card and board games this week and next week students can make Christmas gift tags!
Our Year 6 students have written some great book recommendations which have been published on the library blog found on the AccesssIt home page (au.accessit.online/STS02). While you are there, listen to the wonderful Young Conservationist for 2019 Angelina Arora as she talks about the need to stay curious.
If any of these books are from your home, please collect them from the library.

Our old readers' chair has served us well. We are offering it to any DIY upholsterers in our community. See library staff if you wish to take it home!
