Staffing Updates

Mrs Judy Smith will be taking long service leave for the last three weeks of Term 3.  In her absence Mrs Paula Wagner (Year 5W) teacher will take up Judy's role as Assistant Principal Religious Education and Intervention teacher for the younger grades in the last two weeks of term once she returns from Year 5 Camp.  Paula is certainly keen and looking forward to the challenge of leadership. We wish Judy all the best for a well earned rest and hopefully she is able to travel safely to catch up with friends and family at this time. During this time Year 5W will be taught by Cate Bell.  Cate is known to the students and is familiar with the Year 5 curriculum and the school processes. 

Miss Luci Adams will also be utilising long service leave beginning in Week 9, Term 3 (7th September - 9th October and returning Week 2, Term 4.  In her absence, Mrs Kate Everlyn who is one of our competent relief teachers who is very familiar with the SSPS processes  and happenings of our school. Kate has worked within the Prep A classroom and will meet with Luci in the coming weeks to ensure the children's learning opportunities will progress in her absence. 

Miss Lisa Kynoch will be attending a Toowoomba Catholic Schools Staff Retreat in the last week of Term 3 and Mrs Siobhan Grundon will teach Year 5K during this time. We wish Lisa a worthy and restful retreat.
