Queensland School Libraries Week

As our school year begins, we celebrate our library and how it can be a life force for learning during Queensland Schools Library Week.

Students in Year 3 - 6 are exploring the theme; School libraries – the heart of learning and will show their ideas in a piece of art work. A selection of students’ responses will be shared on the library AccessIT homepage.

As adults, we appreciate the importance of reading for life and learning. Thank you for reading aloud to your children and encouraging free choice reading at home.

We look forward to regular library borrowing when the building is completed. If your student has books from 2021, please ensure they are returned. Overdue notices will be sent home early next week for your attention.
