Hello from the Music Room! 

SSPS students have been working hard in Music this term. Prep are learning to sing nursery rhymes and keep a steady beat whilst singing. Year One and Year Two have been working on singing simple tunes like Rain Rain Go Away and Blue Bells and learning about melodic contour and how to create their own. The music staff and its note names were introduced to Year Three. Year Four have also been looking at the staff and note names to start playing the ukulele in Term Two. The traditional Israeli hand clapping game, A Qua Qua, has been a hit with the Year Fives and Sixes.
