Life and Learning in the Library
We will celebrate this Book Week theme all term with wonderful fiction and non-fiction books, competitions and student displays.
The main event in Book Week will be our dress-up parade on Tuesday 23rd August at 9 am in the Mercy Centre. Students are encouraged to dream themselves into a story, a real life adventure or their ideal future and come dressed to show us their dream.
Colouring Competitions
All students are invited to enter the Book Week colouring competition by collecting the template from the library and returning it by Monday 15th August (Week 6). Here are your choices, you might like to attempt both. We will be rewarding the 5 most colourful, careful works with a small prize and all entries will be on display.
Thank you Kerrie Rowlings for your years of volunteer work!
Kerrie has given freely of her time every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning for the last few years to work on the circulation desk, shelve books and prepare new books for processing. Our school community acknowledges Kerrie's long term and valuable contribution to the library service and wishes her all the very best as she takes up a new position. Please visit us occasionally Kerrie and thank you for being so generous with your time and so dedicated to our library service!
Stay warm and curl up with a book this weekend.
